We've significantly expanded our Chicago-area operations with a move to a 104,000-square-foot facility at 1351 Irving Park Road in Itasca. The new space represents nearly three times our previous footprint.
The expansion addresses rapid growth in the region. Chicago has become our highest-volume U.S. operation, and demand has outpaced our available capacity. The new facility provides room for automated processing, additional sortation capacity, and infrastructure to support continued growth.
"The Chicago market is particularly well suited for our international shipping operation because of its central location, extensive transportation infrastructure and proximity to O'Hare International Airport," said Fabrizio Alvear, co-founder and co-president. "The location provides access to a deep logistics labor pool, major highway and rail networks and extensive international air capacity."
The lease, managed and leased by Hamilton Partners and represented by Cresa's Allen Rogoway, brings the Irving Park Road property to full occupancy.
The move reflects our position as one of the largest privately owned international shipping companies in the United States, serving e-commerce businesses with domestic and international shipping solutions.
