Meet Tracy, with over 33 years in international shipping, Tracy got her start from a simple classified ad in the LA Times. As a founding partner of what is now ePost Global, she’s built lasting relationships and now serves as a Global Account Manager, helping customers across the U.S. grow through smart, customized shipping solutions.

Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I started in the international shipping industry 33 years ago through a classified ad in the LA Times newspaper. I had a background as a purchasing agent for a small computer company where I wore many hats and had some responsibilities with customer service, inventory and shipping.
Tell us about your role at ePost Global.
I started with this company as one of the founding partners of eXpress Postal Options (XPO) which has become ePost Global, and I am now a Global Account Manager with customers across the United States
What were the first steps you took to get into the industry?
I started as an inside sales person for a large international express parcel company, supporting outside sales representatives’ activities with administrative tasks, cold calling and scheduling prospective customer meetings. These skills gave me the opportunity to move into an outside sales rep role which led to joining a smaller east coast based company to help build their west coast presence.
What is one thing that sets ePost apart from its competitors?
Our dedication to our customers is unwavering. Also, our depth of knowledge across all departments allows us the unique opportunity to be a valuable resource, educating our customers to create the best customized shipping solution for their business.
What are you most proud of working at ePost?
We believe that it is an honor to be trusted with helping our customers’ grow and to be an integral part of their success. We understand that our service is an extension of our customers and is a reflection of their business so we are in a true partnership to perform for the end consumer. I’m also very happy that we have a lot of customers and employees who have been with us since the very beginning
What’s been your best day at work so far?
There isn’t any one day, but the best days in my career have been when a customer shares their appreciation, when we see our efforts helping a customer grow their business, and when I hear from a colleague that I’ve helped them learn something new.
What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?
On day one when we had no business at all and we knew we could make XPO exactly the way we wanted it, to serve customers with the well being of their business as our top priority.
