Meet Renee, with nearly 11 years at ePost Global, Renee embodies our core value: “Strive to be our customers’ ideal partner.” Starting as a temp, she’s grown into her role, ensuring seamless package movement through data analysis. A dedicated mom of four, Renee brings the same passion for teamwork and success to everything she does.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I was born and raised in Carson, California, but I have now relocated to Tempe, Arizona. I have 4 amazing kids with an age range from 9 to 2 years old. They are my whole life. Having 4 kids definitely means I am a busy mom. I really push for my kids to be involved in school, sports, and our community. Them being so involved keeps our schedule busy with practices and games for sports, Girl Scouts, plus school events.
Being with the company for almost 11 years, I feel I have really grown up here. This was my first long-term job. I have been in multiple positions with ePost, and I am grateful for that as I have gained a lot of knowledge through the different positions. I always take what I know and have learned from my previous position and apply it to my current position. I always want to learn more, and there is always room for growth.
Tell us about your role at ePost Global.
I am a Network Performance Analyst here at ePost Global. My job is to ensure our packages are moving efficiently through all of our vendors’ networks. I go through shipments, analyze the data, and try to catch any delays to get ahead and be proactive.
What were your first steps to get into the industry?
When I first started working for the company, I really had no idea about the industry. I started off as a temp stamping mail. I ended up staying and working in operations and started to really learn the process of moving mail. As time went on, I moved positions and really learned the ins and outs of this industry. I have moved through a couple of positions, and that has really helped me learn more and more about international mail.
What is one thing that sets ePost apart from its competitors?
I honestly think it is how personal we are. We really gain and maintain our relationships with our customers and all of our vendors. If a customer has an issue, they know they can come to our customer service team for help, and we do our absolute best in coming up with a solution. We collaborate with all teams and really use all of our resources to get solutions and ideas.
What are you most proud of working at ePost?
I am most proud of how committed we are to making our customers happy. I have been included in some special projects where we all work together as a team to collaborate on the best solutions and game plans to make a great experience for our customers. We go above and beyond for our customers.
What’s been your best day at work so far?
My best day at work so far was when I came to visit our Cypress facility for the first time. It had been about 3 years since the last time I came into the office, and the last time I did, we were at our old facility. The Cypress facility is such a nice improvement for our company. It was so nice to see everyone. I got to see familiar faces and finally meet a couple of people in person. It was great catching up with everyone.
What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?
I knew I made the right decision when I noticed how long some people have been working together. Some of our team members have YEARS together. I think a lot of us have grown up in this company, from being young adults to where we are now in life. I love hearing everyone’s story of how they started working with the company, and now that I have been here for almost 11 years, I feel like I have my story on how I started with the company too.
When you have been working with people for so many years, you create a bond together, and that’s what I feel I have here at ePost. I think if you can have that in your working space, it only makes the team better. I know I can count on anyone I go to for help in the company. We are really an all-hands-on-deck kind of company.
