Meet Melissa Rado, in charge of Global Channel Sales at ePost Global

For today’s feature we speak with Melissa, a long-standing member of the ePost Global team who brings a wealth of experience from both the logistics and software industries. After a career break to explore software, Melissa returned to her roots in logistics and has spent the last eight years as part of our Channel Sales team. Building strong, lasting relationships with clients is at the heart of her role, and she takes pride in the personal touch ePost Global offers, something that sets us apart from the competition.

Here’s more about Melissa’s journey and why ePost Global feels like family to her.

Tell us about your role at ePost Global

I joined ePost Global 8 years to work directly with a team I had worked with previously. Initially I was involved with the a few multi carrier platforms and onboarding with partner services. As the company expanded their presence so has my role. I now work directly with existing and new platforms, have a hands on relationship with customers and assist the sale steam in these areas.

What is one thing that sets ePost apart from its competitors and what are you most proud of?

What makes ePost Global unique is our personalized customer support. Customers reach out directly to my colleagues and me throughout the week and know they will get the answers or solutions they need. We are one of the largest privately owned US based international parcel services provider while maintaining that small entrepreneurial spirit always available to support our customers.

What has been one of your best days at work so far?

It’s hard to pick one as there are many days that feel like they are the best day. I am always so happy when we help a new customer integrate with a multicarrier platform or simplify the process when an existing customer transfers to a new platform. Of everything that I worked on one of my best days would have to be when we launched our label API. I am the primary contact for or internal team as well as customers and am so happy we can deliver this solution for shippers that need a direct integration.

What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?

Really right out of the gate. It was great to be reunited with so many of my former colleagues and to see their immediate trust in me; involving me with projects, customers and new opportunities and welcoming my suggestions and ideas.
