Meet Michael, Our Transportation Manager, with 40 years in the transportation industry and experience in roles like dispatch, driving, and route planning, Michael now oversees ePost Global’s nationwide transportation operations.
Tell us about your journey to working in International Logistics?
I have been in the transportation industry for 40 years in multiple capacities including dispatch, driving, route planning, management, and railroad. I am also a certified tractor trailer trainer who has trained over 200 drivers to get their CDL license.
I’m married to my wife Dana and we have 3 children – all girls – and all out of the house. We have replaced them with two cats to keep us company in the house. We enjoy traveling and taking trips on our motorcycles.
Tell us about your role at ePost Global.
I am the transportation Manager in charge of all transportation throughout the company. I have 14 drivers and 3 dispatchers in the 3 buildings throughout the country.
What were the first steps you took to get into the industry?
I fell into this industry by accident. After I left the service, I worked for a telecommunication company and took a job at UPS part time. I ended up spending 37 years at the company in various roles.
What is one thing that sets ePost apart from its competitors?
That we don’t overpromise and underdeliver.
What are you most proud of working at ePost?
Being part of a team. Everyone from every building works together to help each other ensure that our customers receive the quality service that they deserve.
What’s been your best day at work so far?
Every day is my best day.

My first meeting with all my peers – The friendliness and support I received made me realize I was in the right place.
